Andrew has taught writing techniques to six year olds and sixty year olds; amateurs and professionals; working with companies and institutions such as, the Royal Exchange, Salford University, A.I.E., TEXT, London Metropolitan University, LSBU, LSU, Johann-Wolfgang Goethe Universität (Frankfurt-am-Main), the LSO, Cripplegate and Quondam Theatre. He has also be contracted by Cambridge Education Authority to run INSET (in service training) sessions on writing and drama for teachers.
Available as a speaker on writing, writing techniques and industry issues, Andrew has spoken at BAFTA, Austin GDC, Develop, Birmingham Book Festival, A.I.E. and E.I.E.F. on games writing; presented masterclasses and professional tutoring at Salford University; and spoken at universities such as LSU, Bournemouth and LSBU.
An experienced teacher, tutor and lecturer, Andrew has taught writing and drama techniques for 20 years and in more than sixty educational establishments (primary schools, secondary schools, sixth form colleges and universities). He remains committed to spreading the enjoyment of and a belief in excellence in drama across all ages through talks, lectures, workshops and residencies.
