Andrew has taught writing techniques to six year olds and sixty year olds; amateurs and professionals; working with companies and institutions such as, the Royal Exchange, Salford University, Johann-Wolfgang Goethe Universität (Frankfurt-am-Main), the LSO, Cripplegate and Quondam Theatre. He has be contracted by Cambridge Education Authority to run INSET (in service training) sessions on writing and drama for teachers and is currently planning a session for part of NAWE's 2006 programme.
Available as a speaker on writing, writing techniques and industry issues, Andrew has spoken at BAFTA and E.I.E.F. on games writing; presented masterclasses and professional tutoring at Salford University; and spoken at Bournemouth University on behalf of the Writers' Guild.
An experienced teacher, tutor and lecturer, Andrew has taught writing and drama techniques for 16 years and in more than sixty educational establishments (primary schools, secondary schools, sixth form colleges and universities). He remains committed to spreading the enjoyment of and a belief in excellence in drama across all ages through talks, lectures, workshops and residencies.

A member of the National Association of Writers in Education and Action for Children's Arts Andrew is keen to see the best drama in schools, colleges and universities. As part of this commitment he is the current chair of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain children's committee.
